Specialty coffee by day, cocktails over the Campo by night

Margherité sits behind one of the best doors on Piazza del Campo, inside the walls of Palazzo Piccolomini. Mornings bring specialty coffee and brunch. By early evening the same room switches to tapas and cocktails, looking out over the shell-shaped square that most restaurants there charge double for.

A renovation is already planned that will change the layout. For now the drinks menu stands on its own: small plates made for sharing, cocktails that lean creative over classic.

We ate here in April of 2026. The pasta was delicious, the wine, beer and cappuccino were great, atmosphere was delightful as was the service. We highly recommend this restaurant

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. He took the time to ask about our wine preferences and recommended the perfect bottle that matched exactly what we were looking for. The homemade bread was outstanding, easily the best bread we’ve had during our holiday in Italy. Everything felt authentic and made with care. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting Siena!
