Macarons land in Cocody, straight from Paris

Pistachio, rose, salted caramel: Ladurée's macarons finally have an Abidjan address. The 1862 Parisian house picked the Ivoire Trade Center in Cocody for its first Côte d'Ivoire shop, sliding in among the complex's other new openings.

The counter-and-tea-salon setup is the same one you'd find in Paris or Tokyo: pastel boxes, marble counters, made for photos. Come for the macarons, stay for the tea salon if you want a proper sit-down.
