Madafoo's Beach Bar & Restaurant

Diani Beach Opened 2025

Sand-side bar and kitchen at Galu Ecolodge.

Madafoo's sits on the sand at Galu Ecolodge on Galu Beach, and the beach bar and restaurant have turned into one of Diani's regular hangouts through 2025. The kitchen mixes coastal plates with a Diani twist, Buddha bowls next to smash burgers, plus a cocktail list that changes often.

Next door, the pool and kids' playground pull in families as much as sundowner crowds. The restaurant and the ecolodge now share one Instagram account, which says a lot about how tied together they've become.
