Gourmet drinks in a can, and the first batch sold out

Matcha, spiced hot chocolate, fruit blends: Teako cans them cold instead of pouring to order, a concept nobody else in Antananarivo was running. It reads like a bubble-tea alternative for people who want something less sweet and a lot more photogenic.

The first batch sold out within two weeks. It's a small counter in Antsahavola, more takeaway than sit-down, and it filled a gap between the city's coffee shops and its bubble-tea stalls that nobody had tried to fill before.
