A restaurant-lounge doubling as Toliara's entrepreneur hangout

Or'Aura opened April 27, 2026, on the first floor of the Score supermarket building on Boulevard Lyautey. Interior designer Lantoniaina Malala Rakotoarivelo, the person behind Art Lanto Design, built it and calls the restaurant "a tool" rather than the point. The real project happens on Thursday nights, when entrepreneurs from the city's crafts, catering, poultry and fashion trades pull up chairs and talk shop over dinner.

The format backs a grill-and-lounge menu with drinks running late and DJ sets on weekends. It already hosted the local casting round for a Miss & Mister Tropical Stars contest, and the Score address means it can seat a crowd without needing beachfront real estate elsewhere in town.
