Korean home cooking behind Crossroads, sushi on the side

Sushi and proper Korean dishes on a covered veranda tucked behind Crossroads in Area 9. It's one of the only places in Lilongwe doing Korean food right, and the city's Korean and expat community treats it like a second kitchen.

Lunch and dinner run all week. The covered khonde feels more like a neighbour's yard than a City Centre restaurant, which is exactly why the regulars keep coming back.

This restaurant offers genuine Korean home-style cooking with flavors that feel traditional yet very approachable. Even Western and Malawian diners can easily enjoy the food. Highly recommended!

What a surprise hidden gem in Malawi !!! I didn’t expect to have such authentic and tasty Korean food in Lilongwe. I genuinely enjoyed the great food, lovely garden, and kind service from the lovely couple. 감사합니다. 또 올께요^^

Run by a lovely Korean couple, Mum's Table serves authentic Korean cuisine! Having come after a long bus ride from Lusaka, we left fully satisfied. We had the Jaeyookdeopbab (spicy stir-fried pork) and Kimchijjigae (Kimchi pot stew) and they were just utterly delish, as good as any we'd find back home.

No complaints here. The food was tasty (kimbap for starter and tofu stew for main course). The location is peaceful and has a nice homey feel. The service was friendly without being intrusive.

The only place to get Korean cold noodles, just like how it tastes in Korea! The chicken wings and dumplings were excellent too! Definitely will return!!
