Kulenga Nights turn recurring evenings here into a stage. Kalukusha and touring acts like Karahari and DJ Solo play to a mixed room of guests and walk-ins. Cover is whatever you spend at the bar, rare for a town this size.

George Kalukusha moved from Lilongwe, where he'd built a name promoting Pa Khonde Sessions. He crowdfunded turning a Statehouse Road plot into Kulenga Village. Now it's a hostel run like a venue: rooms upstairs, a bar and restaurant below.
