A lakeside local bar with better views than most restaurants

Chifundo's is one of the smaller bars along the lakefront, known more for its outlook over the water than anything on the drinks list. It draws a mix of local regulars and travelers who've wandered past the more obvious lodge bars.

There isn't much written about it beyond being well regarded and lakeside, which in Nkhata Bay is often enough. It's not trying to be a destination, just a bar with a good spot to watch the boats come in.

  Good local African bar right on the lakeside. Very friendly with a good mix of people.
