Bellusa Cafe sits on a corner of Pjazza Indipendenza, the square Gozitans call It-Tokk and the center of daily life in Victoria. Its outdoor tables look straight onto the market and the town passing by.

From morning on, the menu runs coffee, pastizzi, ftira and a few simple plates. It's been a plain, long-running spot for watching the square, not a kitchen chasing attention.
