Cold beer, happy hour and a lagoon sunset behind Truk Stop

Mangroove Bar sits on the water right behind Truk Stop Hotel, close enough that guests wander over after dinner without booking a taxi. Locals call it Chuuk's newest hangout, and the crowd backs that up: dive staff off shift, hotel guests and Weno regulars splitting a pitcher on the dock.

It's a simple setup. Cold beer, a happy hour that actually drops the price, and enough space to watch the sun go down over the lagoon. It has closed for renovation before and reopened under the same name, so check it's running before making the walk over.
