Mehdi Berrada designs in a brutalist register, and BRUTT, open since November 2025, is the first space he's built for himself rather than a client. Walls, floors, lighting, furniture and even the crockery lean into rough edges instead of polish, all gathered around one long communal table.

He also wrote the menu: oat and banana pancakes, a burger built to taste deliberately old school, a salad that crosses Italian caprese with Moroccan taktouka, plus gluten-free and keto options. Try the white latte with miso once. No smoking anywhere, still unusual in Casablanca. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I really love the flat white here wow. I have a page where I review ALOOOOOOT of cafés in New York + across the world and this is one of the best ones I’ve had in all of Morocco. The ambience and vibes of this place is so beautiful and it is amazing place to work I’m obsessed with this place!!!!

Absolutely the best cheeseburger in Casablanca. Actually the best food. The Forrest eggs and keto burger are amazing. The Kenyan pour over coffee and the design is truly an honor to be part of. This is exciting for Casablanca and a new design landmark. Appreciate the Japanese wooden shou sugi ban details, plot palette and the sanctuary that’s created without windows.
