Baba Coffee opened in 2024 a short walk from the kasbah. Sufian runs the espresso machine and the Instagram account, most posts are just him pulling shots. The place is small: a few tables, a counter selling beans, and wifi solid enough that regulars treat it as a morning office.

Reviewers keep saying it doesn't feel like the cafes on the main square. No camel burgers, no tagine, just coffee done right and a simple breakfast. Matcha lattes showed up in 2026, hot or iced.
