Asian-inflected deli food that skips the tagine circuit

MOFI sits in Tangier's new town and runs an Asian-influenced deli fusion menu, nothing like the tagine and couscous places nearby. The menu changes almost daily, built around what's seasonal and local.

Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options aren't an afterthought, they run through the whole menu. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 1pm to 10pm.

An unusual experience in Tangier, but in a good way. You’re most likely will end up eating a tasty artsy creation full of flavors and spices.

Absolutely delicious food, each bite packed with flavor. The owner was very accommodating in explaining the dishes and since I could not choose between two she just made me a plate with both.

An incredible explosion of flavors! Each dish had a delicious combination of unique flavors that left us wanting to return as soon as we can. The Herb Prawns were immaculate and the Lebanese Schnitzel was a fantastic mix of fried chicken, roasted veggies, fresh veggies, and rice, the dumplings were top notch too. There are no prices on the menu, but each dish was around 150dh and we paid around 500dh total for two people. A bit more pricey compared to other tangier options, but the journey of flavors that you go on is well worth it and we can't wait to go back!

Mofi was one of the highlights of our time in Tangier. The food was exceptional .. creative, imaginative dishes that blended unique flavors without ever sacrificing quality or balance. Every plate felt thoughtful and beautifully executed, offering a wonderful fusion of tastes that was both exciting and delicious. The restaurant itself has a vibrant, colorful atmosphere in the heart of Tangier. It’s stylish, comfortable, and a fantastic place to relax over a meal. The service was outstanding as well. Very friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. A special thank you to the owner, Viva, who went above and beyond to make my family and me feel welcome during our first visit to Tangier. Her warmth and hospitality made an already incredible dining experience even more memorable. I would absolutely return to Mofi and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier. It’s a place that combines outstanding food, a beautiful atmosphere, and genuine hospitality.

Exceeded any expectations by far. Some of the best food I‘ve ever had. Tried the Persian eggplant which was a unique dish with so many different flavors and ingredients mixed together. And yet prepared in a short time frame. The chef is clearly very talented. Definitely recommend
