Sushi, cocktails and a grand piano in Zimpeto

A sushi counter and a baby grand piano share the same dining room here, which is reason enough to make the trip out to Zimpeto. Dark wood and neutral tones set the mood for a slow dinner, not a quick bite.

Zimpeto sits closer to the national stadium than downtown Maputo, so this pulls a neighborhood crowd rather than passing tourists. The kitchen stays open until 2am Wednesday through Sunday.

  Very nice, but the service leaves much to be desired; they hardly ever answer you, and when they do, it's not the best... I suggest improvements to the service.
