Walvis Bay's newest cocktail bar, pouring since October 2025.

La Vine Lounge opened on 25 October 2025 at 76 Theo Ben Gurirab Street and pulled in a packed house from night one. Local papers reported noise complaints from neighbors within days of the launch.

Doors stay open from early afternoon until 2am, with a full cocktail list, wine menu and food to match. Wednesday happy hour comes with a free glass of wine or sparkling wine.

  I’ve been there a few times now, and somehow I always end up ordering the sushi. It’s honestly become my go-to — the rolls are fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavour. It’s one of those places where you go in thinking you’ll try something new… and still leave with sushi on the table because it’s just that good!!!
