Tea first, on the road into Sauraha

Chai and simple meals on the Kumaltar road, right before Chitrasari, the stretch travelers cross before hitting Sauraha's main tourist strip.

Most restaurants cluster around Hatti Chowk and the main street, so this one gives arriving visitors a reason to stop before they even reach downtown. It works as much for locals commuting the Kumaltar road as for tourists heading toward the park entrance.

I visited The Tea Bar & Restaurant in Sauraha recently. The location is really nice and easy to find, which makes it a good spot for tourists. However, I felt the food was just average and did not fully meet my expectations in terms of taste. The service was also a bit slow and could be more attentive. The staff were polite, but the overall experience could be improved. It’s a decent place to relax and enjoy the environment, but there is definitely room for improvement in both food quality and service.

THE TEA BAR AND RESTO This place is good. But the food and other things were lacking. It wasn't that good. Next time I come, it won't be like this. Let's get some delicious and tasty food.
