Restobar in the Griftpark, with a roof terrace

For 26 years this was Peter's Bistro, the only restaurant inside the Griftpark. Peter Keizer handed it to Dylan and Roos Jonkhart, Christiaan Ames and Yoran van Dongen, the team behind Café Flater on the Oudegracht, and a full rebuild followed as En Public.

The kitchen moved south, somewhere between France and Italy. A terrace sits at water level, with a roof terrace above it looking out at the Dom. They call it Utrecht's beach club.

Just visited and I can highly recommend, the menu has changed away from the shared dining to a la carte. Although a modest number of choices each dish we tried was inventive, presented well and surprising on the pallet. A great selection of drinks and friendly staff, no issues with the speed of service. Live non intrusive DJ was also a plus. Try it out for yourselves.
