Guardabarranco Café roasts nothing but Nicaraguan beans and bakes its own cakes to order, a block east of Iglesia La Recolección. The name comes from Nicaragua's national bird, though you'll spot it more in the logo than on the menu.

Prices run above the León average, but that's specialty-grade coffee talking, not instant dressed up. Order ahead on WhatsApp if you want a custom cake ready when you arrive.
