Rogaland's farms, one shop, no supermarket label in sight

Every shelf at LITTBONDE names the farm behind it. Meat, dairy, vegetables and preserves come straight from named Rogaland producers instead of a generic supermarket brand, so you know exactly whose cows made your butter.

The brand sold direct from the farm long before this. Pedersgata is where it became a place you can just walk in. The street itself has gone from rundown to Stavanger's food strip over the past few years, and a farm shop landing at number 57 is proof of that shift.

Good to know

• Open weekdays 10 to 18 and Saturdays 10 to 16; the fresh counters are best in the morning.
• Everything is labelled with the farm it came from, ask, the staff know the farmers.
