A bar built into Svolvær's old wharf

Bryggebaren sits at Anker Brygge, in the same timber quay buildings as the Kjøkkenet restaurant on the Lamholmen islet. Beer and drinks get poured in rooms that once stored fish and gear.

The water is right outside the window, so it's an easy stop for a drink. Most people land here after dinner next door and stay for another round.

Took a long time to get our food from ordering (50 minutes), burger and shrimps. Got told there were some technical difficulties with the QR code, though nothing we got told when ordering beer at the bar. Shrimps were awesome according to my company, and the burger was very good. The chips were over-salted but I got a new batch. The good people working here wasn't very smiling or accommodating, but luckily the total experience with food and surroundings made up for all that. Hadn't it been for that, the stars would've dropped a lot more than just to 4.

Absolutely unique place in typical Lofoten style. Fantastic food (despite limited selection). Perfect personell. Loved it.

I had dinner in this restaurant that is part of the Anker Brygge Resort and fortunately it was open till late night. There were not many options available in the menù, we had fish soup and fish gratin, they were both good. We had to wait a little bit longer than usual for our dishes. Prices are high but in line with Norwegian standards.

Came for dinner and ordered the fish gratin and fish soup. Took long for our food to come out, but it was good. I would order the fish soup again. Tons of seating with options for indoor and outdoor. Good for large groups. Some free parking by the restaurant. Good views of the water.

At 12 Midnight, where else do you go for a beer? Good Atmosphere. Kitchen closed early, so only had a beer.
