Musandam handicrafts on Bassa beach

Try on traditional Omani dress, get henna done, or browse handmade pieces, each one tagged with a short story about the artisan who made it. It feels more like a craft workshop than a souvenir shop, because it is one.

The space on Bassa beach holds a pottery studio and an art workshop alongside the shop floor. It grew out of a tent at Khasab port selling local handicrafts, and Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has featured it on its own website.
