A museum built to explain the City of Saints
Multan already draws pilgrims to Shah Rukn-e-Alam's shrine, but nobody had built a museum to explain why until this one opened within sight of the mausoleum. Go before the shrine, not after, and the blue-tiled tombs outside will make more sense.
Four galleries, a library and meeting hall, an archaeology lab and a cafeteria fill the 111-million-rupee building. It's the first place in Multan to frame the city explicitly around its Sufi shrines, a story previously left to guidebooks and tour guides.

It's a recent addition to the beauty of multan, it is closed for break from 12-2:30pm and closes at 5pm I guess, so far it has not been ticketed they do plan to charge in the future. Air-conditioned, neat, and a history rich addition.
