Coffee upstairs at the hardware store

Second floor of KBSA Hardware & Homecentre, past the paint and timber, is where Kimbe gets its coffee fix. The cafe claims roots back to the 1990s, pouring local beans long before flat whites were normal anywhere else in West New Britain.

The menu covers breakfast plates, burgers and cake alongside that locally grown coffee. Order online ahead for pickup, and stay late since it runs into the evening most nights, handy once the market stalls shut.

Good to know

It's on Level 2, inside the hardware store, not a standalone building.
They take delivery and online orders through their Instagram DMs.

Apple Mango Cafe in KBSA, Kimbe is easily one of the best spots to relax and enjoy a great meal. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends or having a quiet coffee break. The food is fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality in every bite. Their coffee is consistently good, and the menu has a nice variety to suit everyone. The staff are friendly, professional, and provide excellent customer service, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone in Kimbe looking for good food, great coffee, and a comfortable place to unwind. I’ll definitely be coming back!
