Uruguay's gaucho brand crosses the border for the first time

Bombachas, work shirts, leather goods, all made in Uruguay and now sold outside it for the first time. Tranquera picked Asunción for its first store beyond Montevideo and Punta del Este, landing on level two of Distrito Perseverancia.

The 150-square-metre shop cost a reported USD 350,000 to build. Management calls it an anchor for more expansion, not a one-off, so this is the moment to get in before the brand is everywhere.
