DJ sets and art nights on Ruta 2, not another cumbia bar

Route 2 is the newer bar on the Km 53 nightlife strip, close enough to Stereo Bar that it's part of the same weekend loop. It opened as a self-described "bar urbano," and it plays DJ sets and art nights instead of the live cumbia bands that dominate the rest of the strip.

The crowd is younger and more design-forward than its neighbors. It's open later too, Friday and Saturday run until 5am, so it's worth knowing if Stereo Bar's cumbia nights aren't your thing.
