An omakase cocktail bar counting drinks like courses

Hanashi is a small omakase cocktail bar on Św. Gertrudy, along the Planty ring, run by Paweł Michalski. Rather than a long list, it offers signature sets of drinks that change monthly, each paired with a small bite.

Whisky, gin and umeshu tasting flights round out the offer, and the service is close and personal at the counter. The name comes from the Japanese for conversation.

We are a group that lives in NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, and more. We are well travelled. When we visit cocktail bars, we have high expectations. This experience is nothing short of exceptional. That is no exaggeration. Pawel really takes the omakase experience seriously and it truly feels like an omakase in Japan. The drinks are crafted with great expertise and care. There are non alcohol options. The food pairings are perfectly matched. I cannot recommend Hanashi enough. Come, bring your partner, bring your family, bring everyone. You won't regret it, I promise.

This is not an exaggeration, this is my favorite cocktail place in the entire world. I’ve been to 39 countries at this point and enjoyed many a tasty cocktail. But this place by far has the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. Rafał is a magician, seriously. I have been multiple times and loved every single drink I’ve had as well as the pairings set. Highly highly recommend this to anyone visiting Krakow. Can’t wait until the next time I get to visit again.

Excellent sophisticated cocktails with a Japanese twist, and the service was fantastic. This was the first time we have had a cocktail omakase experience and it surpassed our expectations - every cocktail was delicious and the food pairing was incredible as well. We also tried the umeshu tasting which was amazing as well. We've been to many bars around the world but this was one of the most memorable experiences. Hanashi definitely deserves to be in the list of the World Top 50 Bars!

Unique experience in Krakow. Definitely worth a visit if you like to explore Japanese Omakase style. Enterence need to be more visible as we try to find the door.

Exceeded our expectations. We chose the omakase set with 5 different drinks and snacks on the side. The staff explained each drink, all while having a smile on their face.
