Senzu Coffee Roasters swaps the roastery for a 40-seat cafe on Rua de Cedofeita

Comum opened on May 1, 2025, in the old Padaria Nacional building on Rua de Cedofeita. It's the first full cafe from the team behind Senzu Coffee Roasters, who spent years supplying beans before deciding to run the room themselves. Forty seats fill the former bakery space.

The counter runs specialty coffee next to pastries baked in house. If you're hungry, the menu also has a short list of large sandwiches.

One of my favorite coffee spots in Porto! The coffee is always excellent, and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always make you feel at home

I have tried the coffee at Comum several times and it never disappoints. They have high quality specialty coffee and today I tried their food for the first time and it was also amazing! They had a seasonal watermelon cucumber tofu salad with sourdough. Very fresh ingredients and they were also very nice to bring some olive oil on the side to put on the bread. The decoration is a mix of modern and traditional Portuguese buildings, quiet (I often go there to work on my computer) and the staff is super kind, know a lot about coffee and make sure you have a good experience. Highly recommend this place! :)

Great coffee shop. I keep coming back for the batch brew and their creative seasonal drinks—espresso tonic with hibiscus, mango matcha, and other unique combinations. The baristas are true artists, and every cup is made with care. Highly recommend!

A little disappointed. After reading the reviews I had higher expectations. Both the coffee and soft cookie was mid tbh.
