The view over Brasov that took fifteen years to reopen

Take the Tampa cable car up to 960 meters and the whole old town spreads out below, mountains behind it. The dining room sat empty for fifteen years after opening in 1975, and the rebuild kept the same spot but redid everything inside.

The kitchen runs a seasonal menu built around that view, and the cable car ride up is half the reason to come. Go at golden hour if you can time it.

An outstanding dining experience from start to finish! The panoramic view over Brașov is absolutely breathtaking and creates the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal. The food was exceptional, everything we ordered was delicious. We especially enjoyed the game dishes, which were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The drinks were equally excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was just as impressive. A special thank you to Toma, who made us feel genuinely welcome. He was warm, natural, and professional. His friendly attitude and attentive service truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommended for the amazing food, spectacular views, and outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Food is great. Experience is great. Atmosphere is great. Schnitzel is fantastic. Dragoș our host was fantastic. Nice place we will definitely come back. Can be expensive but I think definitely worth it

We were thee for both lunch and dinner and both experiences were great. Evenings come with a sunset bonus. Good food and wine and beautiful views. Staff services excellent and they speak English. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and the bathroom has facilities for changing your baby. All in all would recommend. If you are with kids lunch is preferable. Dinner time the restaurant is fully booked. Book in advance and request window otherwise you may be seating in the inner dining area.

What a way to end the day! 🌙🏰 Tonight we took the cable car up Mount Tâmpa and had dinner at Panoramic Restaurant overlooking Brașov. The views were absolutely incredible, especially once the city lights started coming on below us. Good food, great service, and one of those views that makes you put your phone down for a moment and just take it all in. Looking out over the old town, surrounded by the mountains, it was easily one of the most memorable dinners of the trip. If you're visiting Brașov, I'd definitely recommend adding this to your list. The cable car ride up and the view from the restaurant alone make it worth it. A perfect end to a fantastic day in Transylvania. 🇷🇴🍷✨

You take a cable car to get up to this amazing restaurant. 3,150 feet above sea level. Beautiful views. Huge windows. Fresh flowers. So lovely inside. Excellent service. Felt like fine dinning but with amazing prices. We were happy we could sit right by the window and just have a drink and dessert. Our waiter, Alin was very thoughtful and attentive. As we were finished he volunteered to show us the lower section of the restaurant with an open balcony where he gave us a little tour of what we were looking over. Another stunning view. We got the Hugo cocktail, Bloody Mary and dessert. Highly recommend the refreshing Hugo in the summer. The raspberry soufflé and Romanian style apple pie were beautifully presented and so yummy. Good music playing too
