Coffee inside a 1760s French garrison

Most cruise tours give Morne Fortune fifteen minutes for photos and move on. Fortune Cafe gives you a reason to actually sit down first. It's a small counter for coffee and something to eat, tucked inside the Morne Fortune Museum & Art Gallery, a building the French put up between 1763 and 1765 before the British took the hill from them.

Grab your coffee, wander the rotating exhibitions of Saint Lucian artists, then walk out to the cannons and gun emplacements a short walk from the paintings before hitting the ridge viewpoints.
