Named for Mount Tyam, one of the peaks ringing Medina, this cafe sits inside the Amriya Hotel. It's part of a wave of boutique properties reshaping the city's hospitality scene, and the coffee menu stays simple: pour-overs and espresso drinks, no long syrup list.

It's calmer than the cafes clustered around Al Haram, doubling as the hotel's own lobby cafe. A good break from the crowds without leaving the city center.
