A Parisian fox lands in Riyadh

Kitsuné was a fashion and music label in Paris long before it poured a single espresso. The café arm has since spread across several countries, and it landed in Umm Al Hamam Al Gharbi in October 2024 with the same minimalist, design-forward look.

Umm Al Hamam is already one of Riyadh's densest café strips, so a brand with this kind of recognition abroad says something about how far the city's coffee scene has come. Even the name plays on the mismatch: kitsune is Japanese for fox, wrapped in a very Parisian idea of what a café should be.

I would like to thank Jovemar for the outstanding service. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. I tried the Sakura White Chocolate Latte and honestly, I gotta give it like a 3/10. It just tasted like milk with a hint of flowers and was kinda lukewarm, not what I expected. Now, the Strawberry Cake though? Super cute, and the flavor was on point. You could tell the strawberries were super fresh! Shoutout to Kim, the waiter. He was awesome—so friendly, smiling, and super quick with our order. Props to him for making the experience better!
