Every seat at Prep points at Bonghwangdae, one of the tallest Silla-era tomb mounds in town. The view carries as much weight as what's in the glass.
The cocktails skip the classic book for something more modern and produce-driven. The bar has shown up often enough on Korean travel shows that a window seat on a weekend night is worth booking ahead.

Extremely delightful cocktail bar. Such knowledgeable and professional, friendly staff. Excellent and wide ranging menu. Great location/view. Really happy we found this place during our short visit to this lovely town.

Really enjoyed this place! Great, unique, Korean inspired cocktail menu (has classics as well)! Definitely recommend the Korean inspired ones! Staff was also extremely friendly and gave great cocktail suggestions!

My favourite in Gyeongju! Great friendly service, good selection of cocktails with local liquor. Limited food menu but that’s not why we come here for.

Bar Prep was one of my favorite spots in Gyeongju. The cocktails were amazing, the food was excellent, and everything felt thoughtful and high quality. What made it even better was the staff—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable about spirits and drinks. They made the whole experience feel warm and memorable. I would gladly come back.
