A pastry cafe with a front-row seat to Janganmun Gate

Skip the multi-floor cafes stacking up in Haenggung-dong. Doasi is one small pastel-and-wood room in quieter Hwaseo-dong, sitting right across from Janganmun, one of Hwaseong Fortress's four main gates.

The menu stays narrow on purpose: coffee, milk drinks, and pastry. People come back specifically for the cinnamon rolls and the sable cookies, not for a long list of options.
