Tabouret opened on 1 January 2024 as a hybrid space showing art exhibitions, hosting artist residencies and selling collectible design pieces, part of a wave of owners from France and mainland Spain opening shops and galleries around Maó's old town.

The shop sits directly on Plaça Bastió, in a neighborhood where more galleries keep moving into the historic buildings around it.

  A must-see if you're staying in Mahón. This little gem is brimming with handcrafted treasures, mainly. The curation is stunning. A bit of fashion, a touch of home decor, and just plain beautiful things!
