Breakfast is the reason The Barn made a name for itself in Ella, and it's the meal to plan around. The rustic, barn-style building on Wellawaya Road stands out enough that locals give directions by it.

It's part of the Starbeans chain, the same one behind Ocean Bistro in Galle. The kitchen runs 7am to 10:30pm, so lunch and dinner get a mix of local and international dishes too.
