Grab a garden table at Moats Café and the view does half the work: Sigiriya Rock rising over your shakshuka. The menu keeps it simple with pancakes and fresh juice alongside, the kind of brunch that doesn't need dressing up.

It's a breakfast-and-lunch place, open 7:30am to 4:30pm, so skip it for dinner plans. The cafe moved to 4th Mile Post in early 2025 and told regulars ahead of time instead of just disappearing.

Good to know

Shakshuka is the dish regulars mention first, get there before 10am on weekends.
Open until 4:30pm only, don't plan it as a dinner stop.

Such a peaceful, lovely little spot. Got the avo toast which was so yummy! I had an oat latte which was also delicious. Such lovely service too! Would recommend :))

Delicious place for Breakfast and Coffee! We ordered the pancakes, avocado toast, chocolate smoothie bowl, iced latte and cappuccino . Everything was tasty and the pancakes came with many fresh fruits. The smoothie bowl was very filling. The coffees tasted great! Service was quick and all of our dishes arrived at the same time. I highly recommend this place!

The food and atmosphere were amazing. Really fresh and delicious, a welcome break after a couple of days of curry. We ended up going twice, the coffee was fantastic, and we ordered the omelette, overnight oats and pancakes which were all amazing. Nice little spot, fans to keep you cool, and jenga sets to keep you occupied. Note that it’s not super speedy service, but a relaxing time
