Most food stops in this district are warungs shuttered by mid-afternoon. MIJN opens at 5pm on Sidodadiweg and runs into the evening, an actual lounge where the district mostly does daytime snacking.

The room fills up fast once it opens, drinks going out steady. It's a genuine departure for Saramacca, and the crowd it pulls proves there was demand for it.
