Et cetera opened on Bertastrasse in mid-April 2026 in Zurich-Wiedikon, built as an all-day address covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner under one roof. The kitchen leans on house-made sourdough bread, wild garlic dishes when in season, and omelets, before shifting to wine and small plates in the evening.

GaultMillau called it the most convincing new opening of the Zurich spring, a strong endorsement for a neighborhood restaurant without the backing of an established chef's name.

the location is absolutely stunning and that‘s why it is even more sad that this café is not one to become a favourite. even if the quality of the food is good, portions are super small & the prices are unbelievably high & not justified. it takes the joy of going out and trying new spots completely away. not sure who‘s ready to pay such high prices in the long run, but then it‘s still zurich..

It is a perfect spot to have a good time with friends. Lovely terrace and amazing food. Service was exceptional. I went for the toast with caponata and it was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The minimalist Nordic design, calm ambiance, and genuinely friendly service make it a wonderful place for a relaxed weekend brunch. 🤍🌿 The menu focuses on high-quality local ingredients, which we really appreciated. We ordered the continental breakfast and omelette, which was very well executed — perfectly cooked, fresh, and clearly made with care. 🍳👌 That said, I was hoping for a bit more creativity and interesting flavor combinations. Everything was good, but I missed that unexpected element that makes a dish truly memorable. Nice and fresh food, but could use a bit of more flavour. Also the service was really slow. The place is very cozy though.

I was at et cetera today for the first time and i absolutely loved it, the interiors are simple but very Scandinavian inspired, one of the owner came over to take the orders, she was very friendly and great attitude, there were not seats outside when we arrived but as soon as one was free the gently asked if we wanted to take the outside table, food was also very good and perfectly served :) so far the only place in Zurich where i feel like i could became a regual client!
