Random Drink House hides behind a storefront so plain that most people walk right past it. That's the point. Finding the door is half the fun.

Inside, there's no concept-bar theater, just a room that feels more like a neighborhood drinking den. It's quietly become one of the locals' favorite spots on a street already packed with bars.

I just had a few drinks here. The owner, Zed, is really a great guy. He knows his drinks. Asked him what his favorite cocktails to make are and, among them, he mentioned New York Sour. I tried it and it was really easily drinkable. He knew his whiskeys, as well. Had a few good whiskys and he really hit the nail on the head with describing them. I take my whisky seriously, as does he. I appreciate that. This will become a “go to” spot for me, as I am usually looking for good bars to go to that make me feel like home.

This is a fantastic bar, run entirely by the owner. The cocktails are mainly classic, with the owner adding their own creative interpretations. The food is delicious and goes perfectly with the drinks.
