Live music on Sairee Road, done differently

Where else on this strip do you get luk thung singers from Isaan sharing a bill with a DJ set? Timber Bar mixes Thai folk acts with the island's usual electronic lineup, a pairing that pulls in Chalok locals alongside the backpacker crowd.

It runs from 6pm until late with drinks specials most nights. One of the newer bars on Sairee, but already the one booking acts nobody else on the strip touches.
