Reload Bar

★ 4.1 · 23 reviews Nuku'alofa Opened Opening date unknown

Two floors, two bars, and a 6% house cocktail found nowhere else

Reload Bar sits across from Friends Cafe in the middle of Nuku'alofa, and it's one of the few spots in the capital that's actually busy after 6pm. Its tap drink is a 6% lemon and vodka blend made just for Reload, plus there's an online shop for the branded merch.

Two floors, each with its own counter and sound system, mean you can switch rooms instead of sticking with one crowd all night. Tongan beer on tap, monthly themed nights and "sparkling kava" round out the list.

Good to know

  • Order a beer tower, or try the 6% lemon-and-vodka tap beer created specifically for the bar.
  • Two floors, each with its own bar counter and music, so wander upstairs if downstairs feels too loud.
  • Happy hour runs 5pm to 6pm with buy-one-get-one beers.

Friendly staff. Music was a bit too loud.

Great place for reasonably priced drinks, not a lot on tap for beers. Pool table. Upstairs is a nightclub later in the evening, so 2 music genre options.

Nice enough place to drink beer, play darts, and somewhat dance by yourself 😅

A nice place to have a beer when in town. All prices are in Tongan. They will accept USD but at a 1-1 rate so hit the ATM before you come here.
