Rooftop bar and live music over Avenue Habib Bourguiba

Perched on top of the Hôtel International Hana, Habibi Downtown looks straight down Avenue Habib Bourguiba, past the cathedral and the old French theatre. It calls itself a Mediterranean bar-concert, with live sets playing alongside the drinks rather than something piped in the background.

Downtown Tunis doesn't have many rooftop bars, so a terrace with this view stood out from opening night. It's part of a small push to pull some of Gammarth's nightlife energy back into the city center instead of out to the coast.

A really nice bar with a unique and beautiful view. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I had read some previous reviews saying that they force you to buy food, but I’m not sure how accurate that is. We had a few drinks while we were there and kept ordering more, and at no point did anyone suggest that we needed to order food. It may be that those reviews came from people who were sitting for a long time with just one drink. Overall, the views are fantastic and the atmosphere is really cool. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.

Great rooftop at the top of the big hotel on the main street- nice view, cheap beer and good vibe. One of few places you can go alone as a foreign woman in downtown Tunis, to have a drink. You have to enter the giant weird hotel lobby and take the elevator to the 10th floor.

Probably one of the best rooftop bars in central Tunis. It has a 360° view to the whole city, a great vibe, excellent background music and food to snack 😋 Great to grab a drink 🍻 and it's very young and chilled bar Staff speak well English, it's clean and pretty nicely decorated 🏮 NOTE: To get in you must go inside the Hotel International Tunis and grab the elevator to the 10th Floor 🛗

We were visiting Tunis and looking for a place for a drink as a few of the other bars did not feel very female-friendly. We had a lovely time here and felt very welcome. It was 10 TDR per person to come in but there was a DJ, lots of drinks options and good vibes. The staff were really nice!
