Ambitious Aegean cooking among Bitez's tangerine gardens
Kurul does something quieter than the seafood-grill formula that dominates Bodrum's coast. The kitchen builds a composed, seasonal Aegean menu, the kind that made the Michelin Guide take notice, in Bitez, the calmer garden-and-tangerine bay on the peninsula's south side.
This isn't a fast resort dinner. Come for a slower night, and ask what the kitchen is doing with the day's produce.

The food here is really lovely and truly one of the best I ate in bodrum. I don’t know why the reviews are so bad, it is on the pricier side but this is to be expected in bodrum! About £40pp.

Had a lovely evening at Kurul Bitez. The setting is gorgeous, and you can unwind beautifully in their garden amid olive and lemon trees. The food is genuinely delicious the Adana kebab and the fresh mezes are top tier. I would also like to say if you enjoy künefe please order it you won’t be disappointed. The service is also a major highlight; the waiters are incredibly helpful with navigating the menu they are very attentive we felt looked after! Highly recommended for a high-quality Anatolian meal in a beautiful setting the music was top quality aswell. 5/5 would definitely be back when we visit bodrum again.

Please ignore any negative ratings. This is truly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is incredible, fairly priced (if not, cheaper compared to American standard), and the service was top notch. If I would have listened the individual “bad” experiences, I would have been doing myself such a disservice. A must visit when in Bodrum. Kudos to the Kurul team

We went for dinner the food was delicious but its over priced. We ordered sparkling water without seeing the price turned out its 600 turkish lira (€13) we never ever paid that price for a water not even in ibiza or mykonos 😅 Also they add 15% service charge on the top of your bill. We paid 5300 Turkish Lira (€115) for 1 starter, 1 sparkling water, 2 small local beers and 2 plates main course. This place is a one time go only or unless you are very very rich.

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. However, there were many cats around, which made us uncomfortable while eating. In addition, the service was not professional.”
