Handmade goods and a wall of art that changes every two weeks
Skip the Louis Vuitton windows down by the marina. A short walk back on Ethemağa Sokak, Yalika mixes handmade and small-batch pieces (Kara Kuçu was one of the first labels on the shelves) with a gallery wall that gets rehung every two weeks. Painter Yavuz İşler, who builds his work from salvaged materials, has shown here.
It doubles as a café, with live music some nights, and it stays open through winter when most of Yalıkavak shuts down. One room, local makers and local art, no luxury logos.
Good to know
- The show on the walls rotates fortnightly, so it is worth a second visit in the same trip.
- There is a café side, and it stays open through the winter when most of Yalıkavak shuts.

There used to be a legendary Minor in Yalikavak, and this place resembles Minor in terms of its clientele and atmosphere. Anil Sahin has made a great contribution here. The owners and employees of Yalikavak are also very nice people. I feel at home here. Thank you to everyone who contributed. This establishment also has a social aspect; they worked for our furry friends last night. Let's do our best to keep such businesses alive. They are preserving our lost values, thank you.

Some places are special not just for their coffee, but for the people. This is exactly one of those places. A warm garden, carefully prepared coffees, and a wonderful couple who welcome you warmly. I wholeheartedly recommend it to those looking for pleasant conversation and a peaceful atmosphere.

Yalika Cafe is a place where you immediately feel comfortable thanks to its warm and friendly atmosphere. Although the prices are quite reasonable, the service and quality are truly excellent. The music selection is particularly enjoyable; neither too loud nor overpowering – just right. I would definitely recommend it for spending quality time, chatting, and enjoying coffee with good music.
