Rituel is one of the Alsancak addresses that helped push Izmir's coffee scene past the standard Turkish-coffee-and-cake formula, pulling proper espresso and building an all-day menu of brunch plates around it. It draws the laptop-and-flat-white crowd in the day and a brunch queue on weekends.

It sits in the dense Alsancak grid a short walk from the Kordon, so it doubles as a caffeine stop between the district's shops and the waterfront. Coordinates are approximate to the Alsancak block. Come early on Sunday if you want a weekend brunch table.
