Natural wine by the glass on Whiteladies Road

Skip the cocktail crowds and duck into this small room for natural and low-intervention wine, poured by the glass so you can actually explore. A short menu of small plates is built to match whatever you're drinking.

Wine bars are still rare in Clifton, where cocktail spots and cafes rule the street. That alone makes Tapps worth the stop, a few doors from Condesa on a stretch that's gotten a lot more interesting lately.

Unexpected delight, popped in for a post dinner drink with family and found this very beautifully designed bar, live dj (but not so loud you can’t talk), gorgeous wine selection, nice crowd, seating and excellent service (Linnea was lovely). Definitely go again and highly recommend! Excellent.

Leaving another review as I had such a lovely time. My second time visiting Tapps. It’s been a few months since my last visit and the quality was just as excellent. Being a lovely day this time we had the opportunity to sit in their lovely outside area. All of the dishes we had were absolutely delicious. There had also been a lot of changes on the menu which meant we were able to try lots of new things. The wine on tap was also delicious and reasonably priced. Service was lovely. One of my favourite spots I’ve been to in Bristol in the last couple of years so for great dining and atmosphere.

My fav wine bar in Bristol. Thank you to Linea, our waitress; she’s confident, classy and so fun. Aphra, our Somellier was knowledgeable and a credit to the business. Sam was so welcoming, thank you all for making our get together so special. Octopus was delicious, we drank the muscadet.

Every month me and my bestie go for food! This was the best meal we have had so far! We didn’t even speak because we enjoyed the food so much! I had a taster of wines and it was the first time I’d had this great idea! We will be back very soon! All the staff were so full of information and very friendly!
