Manchester label bound opens its first shop, in the old Clark Brothers

Eight years of selling menswear online and through stockists, and bound finally has a room of its own. The nine month pop-up opens 10am Saturday 13 June 2026 at 34-36 Thomas Street, testing whether a physical shop earns its keep before committing further.

The address does the work here. This was Clark Brothers, the shop that sold Christmas decorations, stationery and hardware from these windows for decades. bound kept the original shopfront and stocked the inside with its own tailoring-meets-streetwear collections plus a few outside labels, one of the rare Northern Quarter openings where the building's history is still visible.

Good to know

• This is a nine-month flagship pop-up, so the lease runs out around March 2027.
• The unit is the former Clark Brothers 'everything shop', a Thomas Street fixture for decades.
