Assemble runs a double life in an underground unit at Old Eldon Square. Order a flat white in the morning, come back after dark and it's a natural wine bar with small plates on the menu.

The space also hosts pop-up residencies from cooks without a permanent site of their own, Soku being the standout so far. Worth checking who's cooking before you go.

Love this place. We've been a couple of times, and we will keep coming back. Staff are amazing, friendly and very informative. Food is fantastic and the menu constantly changes regularly. The wine selection is also top notch. Keep up the good work.

a lovely cafe in the daytime, super working-friendly with fast wifi and plug sockets! the staff are really friendly and approachable, only note is for more vegan options :)
