King Street's bar that skips the lobby vibe

Bar Daniel is the reason to duck into The Nickel Hotel even if you're not staying there. It's the first bar concept the hotel built, and it plays like a real destination bar rather than a lobby with a drinks list.

Rosemary Rose lands at the same hotel later this year, but Bar Daniel got there first and set the tone. It's part of a wider Charleston move, alongside The Cooper, Hotel Richemont and the Starlight, of hotels building bar programs locals actually choose on their own.
