Third Place on 20th Street is one of those rare spots that feels like a true neighborhood gem. The service is amazing…warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, making every visit feel comfortable and enjoyable from the moment you walk through the door. The coffee is absolutely fantastic, expertly prepared and full of flavor. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning caffeine fix or settling in to get some work done, it’s the kind of coffee that keeps you coming back. The breakfast taco is another standout, hearty, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. It’s packed with delicious ingredients and makes for the perfect start to the day. One of the coolest things about Third Place is its versatility. During the day, it operates as a cozy coffee shop with a relaxed atmosphere, but by night it transforms into a restaurant, Jūn, giving the space a completely different energy and making it a destination throughout the day. With excellent coffee, delicious food, outstanding service, and a unique day-to-night concept, Third Place is a fantastic addition to the Houston dining scene and a place well worth visiting. Side note:. I was there for a pop-up art show which this space is absolutely fantastic for! Thank you so much for supporting the local Artist community and all that you do!

Loved the atmosphere when walking into the space! The empanada and pastry were delicious. Low rating for the food because I got a matcha with ube foam; the matcha itself was too milky and it did not have a good flavor profile. It looked promising by the green hue at first. The ube foam could not save it. My friend got the strawberries and cream foam matcha latte and she agreed about the poor matcha quality. The staff had nothing to say when I told them the matcha wasn’t good. I had order a coffee to make up for it. I’ll come back for the food and coffee options.

I love Third Place! Best ube drinks and empanadas in the game. The staff is always kind and my drinks have been good every visit, so they’re also consistent! I have literally no complaints. 5/5 stars easy ⭐️

I was very excited to visit this place for the first time. The barista was very nice and helpful with recommending drinks. I ordered a cappuccino and a donut. The cappuccino was good, but I had to wait almost ten minutes for the donut after receiving my coffee. The donut itself was just okay, and unfortunately it later upset my stomach, although I rarely have any problems with food. I liked the café visually and the atmosphere was pleasant, but overall the experience was average for me.

We went to support PX Project when they held residency earlier this month. The Turkey Melt and Beef Bulgogi bowl were fabulous as always. The space was so peaceful and bright with soft music to add to the zen. The Third Place staff was quite friendly and pleasant, and the beverage menu offered wonderful choices to complement your meal, or as a stand alone refreshment.
